Mommy-on-the-Go: My A.M. Routine

In my first blog post, I promised you my full daily routine. So here's a portion of it.

What time do I get up?
5:00 a.m and snooze for a little bit.
What time do I need to be out of the door?
8:00 a.m, ideally.

WHAT DOES MY MORNING ROUTINE LOOK LIKE?
Start my day by sweating off last night's calories. Cool down before hitting the shower. I get myself dressed first before waking the little boss up. For me, it's usually easy to get dressed because I don't work a corporate job, but on days with meetings or fancier events,  I make sure to avoid my ripped jeans and off-shoulders.

Then, I'll tidy the living space for a bit because it's usually in a mess with Aidan's toys from the night before.

Once I get all of Aidan's school gear ready, off we go! Take the scooter to school, drop Aidan off, ride to the train station, get dropped off (by DS), take the train, and start the day!

MY GO-TO MORNING BREAKFAST:
Hard-boiled eggs. It's fast and easy and doesn't take too much time to prep on the go!

#1 TIME-SAVING TIP FOR THE MORNING:
Do EVERYTHING the night before...
Pack breakfast/lunch the night before. Pack Aidan's backpack the night before. Lay out clothing the night before. Stick a note to remind me of anything unique on the mirror.

Note: This is only in the morning and the day is still long at this point.
